Italian Basil Pesto
Our homemade pesto is a fragrant, nutty and savoury creamy sauce. With every bite, you can taste the fragrance of the italian basil herbs that’s freshly harvested from our garden and made fresh for every batch.
We do not add any preservatives so be sure to keep it in the fridge and consume within 2 weeks.
Ingredients
Fresh italian basil, olive oil, almond nuts, salt & pepper. 100% natural ingredients, no preservatives added.
Suggested Use
It is so delicious that you can even eat it on its own, spread it on bread or biscuits, or toss it with your pasta.
Storage instructions
Refrigerate after opening and consume within 2 weeks.
As we use fresh basil leaves in the pesto, don’t fret if you see it become slightly brown or discoloured over time. This is normal because the basil leaves oxidises when exposed to air. It is still safe to eat. Simply keep your pesto sauce under a thin layer of olive oil to create a barrier against the air and slow down the oxidation process.
